Pedro graduated in Administration majoring in Hotel Management from the Unimep (Universidade Metodista de Piracicaba, Sao Paulo, Brazil) in 2004.
Pedro started working at IHS in 2007 at Four Seasons as a room attendant. He was quickly promoted to supervisor at The Observatory (now The Langham). Pedro held his first Executive Housekeeper position at Lilianfels Resort & Spa in the Blue Mountains. During this time, Pedro’s ability to work with a large cross sections of cultures and capabilities was recognised and gave him the opportunity to progress to the Sydney Marriott Hotel (now the Pullman Sydney Hyde Park) to oversee the department managing the challenging transition of in house to outsourcing. In this role Pedro discovered his strength in managing large groups of people by working with the team to develop systems and process that produce quality service.
In a natural progression Pedro was promoted to Operation Manager in 2013. He manages a portfolio of clients and continues to coach managers, supervisors and the team.
